Brilliant Minds
I came prepared
Ready to engage
With the brilliant minds
I expected to find
Within the walls of university
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,
And texting above their desks
Above their desks …?
In high school
We hid our phones
Below our desks
Covering our indifference
In university
There´s more honesty
For that I can take
A relieved breath
Everyone is sitting here
