Gatsby

Gatsby

I don’t want to be like Gatsby
Not like that old sport
Who fell so tragically hard
One fives year prior he had court
Our love will never blossom
And your Tom is arriving soon
So hold your flowing tongue for me
And let parish our loving Daisies

I know this hurts to know
But better I tell you now
To not have you in a bond
Have your head spin round

Wel’soon someone will shoot us down

I don’t want to be like Gatsby
To stretch every night towards your green light
Work to move nearby
Others are wondering why…
Whilst we live a lie
For one which I’d die

I don’t want to be like Gatsby…
