Suffer Silently

I say
Then pull away
Though physically close
It feels
Like we're miles away ...
But the truth is,
I want you to be
Close to me
I want you to
Pull me back
But I'm so used to
Suffering silently
Initially, I retract
I pull away
With a stone cold face
My emotions are inaccessible
You try to draw me out,
"I want to understand",
You say.
But by now,
I'm unapproachable.
I'm suffering silently,
Miserably,
And I'm not sure
What to do?
I should open up to you,
But due to trust issues,
I'm currently so confused.
So, I suffer silently.
I'm frantically searching for me
I look calm on the surface
But I'm flailing underneath
I'm drowning ...
