Don’t Tell Me

Don’t tell I’m not good enough

And that I haven’t made it

Don’t tell me my dream is dead

And you cannot save it

Don’t tell me I have to start anew

From where can I find true love?

When each time I try, problems arise

Ones I struggle to solve

Don’t tell me that it’ll all work out

You cannot feel my pains

To fall, rebuild, then fall again

The cycle never ends

Don’t tell me that you’ll help me

Where were you at the start?

When I decided to take this step

And thought the move was smart

If you tell me anything today

Tell me I’m not alone

Many fail to achieve their goals

And all of them have grown
