I cannot possibly bring you here

If you're still over there

I'd like to hold you in my arms

Would like to bring you near

But if you're still in the past

I'm not sure how we'll last

I don't want to move too fast

But I'd hate to let you past

I know that you've been scarred

And I can see the bruises

Know that you've been hurt

And you feel like you've been losing

Can I help you let go

We can move together

I don't expect it now

You can move whenever

But if you let go

I'll bring you here

You'll see how far you've come
