Die Kirche
Is God still with me
In Germany?
Have I forgotten Him
Or has He abandoned me?
Because throughout my
Twenty four years
I've never felt
This spiritually lonely
I stare at a
Crucified Christ
And I wonder
Would You really
Want to die for me?
A man with this many flaws
One as confused as me
One who cannot
Accept You unquestionably?
Has God turned
His face from me?
Has He given up all hope?
Does He think that I
Can no longer improve
Am I at the
End of my rope?
Is Hell
Where I am destined?
Have I asked
Too many questions?
But if Hell
Is where my life
Will steer
What the Hell
Am I doing here?
